hello,
ReplyDeleteA few years ago, I record on tape a song from radio.
The tape was broken and the only thing that I remember are names :
Gary Burton and Michael Gibbs.
From Gary Burton, I found on the net different versions of this song : Throb.
But all the versions that I found are not that one I remember.
Digging some more, I saw that Mike Gibbs made a record Michael Gibbs with that song, and you speak about that record.
It will be great from you, if it will be possible to give me a link for this song.
Thank's in advance
Jean F.H. (my email is....)
Dear Jean,
ReplyDeleteof course I will send you the link to this beautiful album of Mike Gibbs, but please notice that most likely (although I can't be sure of this, obviously) the version that you are actually looking for might be the one present on the album "In the public interest", Atlantic, 1974, which you can see pictured above on the post. From my side, of course, I wish you that what you search for is already included in THIS mike Gibbs LP, otherwise, let me know, I will publish the Burton/Gibbs album for you in the next future, okay?
Be happy, enjoy :-)
Your Countess
Hello,
ReplyDeleteSorry to answer so late, I'm looking for to many things.
Thank you for your suggestion "In the public interest" that I still eared. This version of "Throb" is quite like that one I'm trying to find but... it sound with less dynamic from my remember and very better than in Gary Burton's album "Throb".
So, I continue to dig.
A great thank's for your help and your site.
