If you love Softs but don't like free jazz, this album is not for you. Elton Dean passed away on Feb 7th 2006, shortly after giving new birth to Soft Machine. Also Hugh Hopper, founder Soft Machine member, left us last year. I'll soon post his first solo LP, "1984" (see LINK).
After the album "Fifth" (1972) Elton Dean quit Soft Machine, then he released this album and, shortly after, he started to tour with a band named "JUST US", but they didn't record any album under this name. A friend of ours wrote me that this LP exists on a CD named "Elton Dean and Just Us", but after checking things online, what results about Just Us is just a couple of tracks that were recorded live in concert during the tour that followed the release of this LP.
